Small town. Real money's worth of difference.

Black Diamond runs on volunteers — so your donation doesn't feed an office. It buys the venue, the printed guides, the loaner tablets, and the gas to get to the rural halls. Here's exactly what common amounts do:

$10

Prints take-home step-by-step guides for a full workshop table — the sheets that live on fridges and get used at 9 p.m. when the phone “does something weird.”

$25

Covers a community hall rental for one Digital Confidence session — a warm room, twenty neighbours, and nobody rushed.

$50

Stocks the Fraud Shield card program: fridge-door “pause and check” cards for a whole neighbourhood mail route.

$100

Adds a tablet to the loaner-device library — the device a dozen residents will learn on, one careful lesson at a time.

$250

Funds a full Fraud Shield community talk series — three evenings, three communities, one scam-wave warned about in time.

Any amount

Goes to project costs, tracked dollar-by-dollar against the program it funded, and reported back in plain language. Always.

Tell us what you'd like to give and we'll confirm the details with you personally — including Interac e-Transfer instructions. While our society registration is being completed, we confirm every donation one-to-one. It's slower. It's also how a small town should do it.

Full transparency: Black Diamond Support Network is a Nova Scotia community non-profit currently completing its society registration. Donations are community support and not yet eligible for charitable tax receipts. Every dollar is recorded and reported against the program it funded.
